The American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Lithium Battery Materials Panel represents the major manufacturers of chemicals and materials that are utilized in the production of lithium batteries. Lithium batteries are crucial to modern life as they are used in everything from cell phones to cameras to pacemakers and have the potential to power innovation in areas like the auto industry. But before any of these products can be produced, lithium materials and chemistry must be shepherded through the process from design to mass marketing. That is where the Lithium Battery Materials Panel plays an important role. The Panel is uniquely situated to advocate for the processes, chemistries and materials necessary for large scale production and commercialization of lithium batteries.
