Blog Comments Policy

Welcome to American Chemistry Matters! This blog is one of the Web sites of the American Chemistry Council (Council), and is governed by its Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Overview
The purpose of this blog is to encourage a diverse and constructive discussion on American chemistry. We encourage your comments; your thoughts, ideas and questions are important to us and will help ensure we have a healthy dialogue around one of America’s largest and most innovative industries.

While we will do our best to respond to comments and inquiries that do not violate the Blog Comments Policy, please understand that we will not be able to respond to all comments, and that our response may take several hours or days to appear.

To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include phone numbers or e-mail addresses in the body of your comment.

Thank you for taking the time to read this comment policy. We encourage your participation in the discussion and look forward to an active exchange of ideas regarding media, industry and policy matters.

Topic of Blog
The blog will discuss various topics related to media, industry and policy.

We intend to offer our take on the day’s most compelling industry news and respond to reports that may misrepresent or misunderstand the business of chemistry.

The blog is also intended to bring readers up to speed on the latest industry developments, including economic trends and statistics, health and safety reports, product innovations, professional conferences and other industry activities.

Finally, we invite our readers to join the conversation on current legislative approaches to chemical safety and security, environmental performance, energy security and regulatory reform.

Your remarks should be relevant to the post on which you comment. This is not the place for solicitation, to talk about personal issues, political beliefs, or discuss any other issues not related to media, industry or policy matters.
