The Center for Advancing Risk Assessment Science and Policy (ARASP) is a coalition of independent groups and associations that promotes the development and application of up-to-date, scientifically sound methods for conducting chemical assessments.

ARASP fosters activities to promote adoption of policies and practices, both within and outside government, that actualize the scientific advances that have been made in understanding how chemicals act at the molecular, cellular, and organ levels.

Americans must have confidence in the scientific methods used to evaluate the safety of chemicals, and the aforementioned practices help to ensure that the best available science underlies chemical safety determinations.

The focus of ARASP is broad; and while it relies on chemical-specific examples, ARASP does not advocate for any specific chemicals.
