American Chemistry Council Announces Five New Members

The American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Board of Directors approved the addition of three new Regular members and one new Affiliate member. The board also approved three new Responsible Care® Partner companies. In September of this year, Monsanto was approved as a Regular member by ACC’s Executive Committee.

2015 United States National Postconsumer Plastic Bottle Recycling Report

This study is a cooperative effort between the Plastics Division of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) to quantify the amount of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) bottles collected for recycling, as well as the rate of recycling of those bottles.

U.S. Chemical Production Moved Higher In September

According to the American Chemistry Council (ACC), the U.S. Chemical Production Regional Index (U.S. CPRI) expanded by 0.2 percent in September, following a 0.3 percent decline in August and flat growth in July. In September, chemical production rose across all regions, with the largest gains in the Ohio Valley, Gulf Coast and Midwest regions.
