Following the devastating impacts of Hurricane Harvey, the American Chemistry Council and the Texas Chemical Council hosted leaders from the Texas chemical industry, local, state and federal officials, and over 200 attendees for a day-long forum at the Houston Area Safety Council to discuss emergency preparedness. The group discussed how the unique lessons from Hurricane Harvey can help guide planning for, and response to, future weather events.
