Membership

From the capitol to the courthouse, from the statehouse to the city council, the American Chemistry Council (ACC) serves as a partner and an ally to our members. We are the collective voice of the chemical manufacturing sector and its value chain. Our mission is to advance the industry’s goals and objectives at global, national, state and local levels.

In 2015, we added 16 new companies to our membership, continuing to diversify and expand throughout the entire chemical manufacturing value chain. In the same year, we also protected product markets by defeating or amending 141 state-based, chemical specific or plastic products bans or restrictions.

Why Join?

Our members are your customers, suppliers and competitors. They are the leading companies of all sizes, engaged in every aspect of the business of chemistry, including:

  • Manufacturing
  • Transportation and distribution
  • Storage and disposal
  • Sales and marketing
  • Consulting, logistics and equipment manufacturing

When the interests of many come together as one, we speak and act with a stronger, more effective voice. This helps create a more favorable business and political climate that protects the people and products of American chemistry. Learn more about becoming a member.

"Given the regulatory challenges and economic environment, it is imperative that we come together as one industry and speak with one voice. ACC's advocacy efforts tremendously benefit both large and small companies alike."
